Good news for fashion fans, and most importantly Alexander Wang’s fans, the young designer will soon be opening its first ever store. Alexander Wang has finally confirmed that he is indeed opening his first store in New York City. The store will be placed and located at 103 Grand Street. As a matter of fact, it’s the same place where Yohji Yamamoto owned a shop once.

Alexander Wang’s new store will hopefully be ready by the end of the year. Moreover, the designer said that he’s very excited and is confident that he will be proud of the store’s outcome. According to him, the location is perfect and even more iconic that one would expect. The store happens to feature a lot of windows, which he truly likes. Alexander Wang said that his store will be something like a new perspective on luxury, or would reflect the same thoughts. Here’s hoping all the best to Alexander Wang.

Adam Levine is no stranger to many, especially those who are Maroon 5 fans. The lead singer has decided to step out on his own by launching his own fashion line. This comes to no surprise as every celeb is launching his/her fashion line these days.

Adam Levine is very stylish himself so no points for guessing here onto why he would want to launch his fashion line. 222, is what his new fashion is called. 222 is set to release in stores next spring. Adam Levine being stylish doesn’t really justify to why his fashion line, he’s into this business as his father Fred owns a chain of stores throughout Los Angeles for the past 30 years. Maybe this explains why Adam Levine dresses well; he probably had time to test his looks to see in what he’s more comfortable. His dad will also join him on this new fashion line as well as his dad’s cousin, Sami Cooper, who owns the factory that will produce this line.

We tend to categorize the clothes that we wear by season. Actually, this originates from designers who unveil and launch their collections based on the season; we have the summer line, the winter line, the autumn line and the fall line. Among the new trends for autumn are puffball sleeves, tweeds and camel colors that we can already spot in stores.

The importance of saving the environment and going green seems to be working well with a lot of companies these days. Timberland is the latest footwear manufacturer who has announced that it is ready to expand its eco-friendly footwear.

The new footwear will be greener as in, it will help and give its users a more detailed information on the environment or more on the impact that this footwear has on the environment.

The new footwear comes from recycled, organic and renewable materials in each pair. Timberland has by far about 14% of its footwear that are from recyclable materials, the company has plans to increase that to 100% by 2012.
Timberland is all set to make a change when it comes to the environment. The brand has been contributing on creating a greener environment and now it wants to contribute even more by making sure that its designs won’t affect the environment.

Burberry has been very much in the news lately with announcing its profits for Q2 2010 and replacing Emma Watson as its spokesperson. Now Burberry has reported a piece of good news for folks over in India, the brand is launching a new line of watches over in the land of Tandoori Chicken.

The new range of Burberry watches are meant to suit both the male and female buyers. At the same time, Burberry intends for these watches to be some sort of celebration of the brand’s heritage and timelessness.

Both men and women will love the new collection and Burberry also made sure that the new line portrays the attitudes and moods of both sexes individually.
