French star aka singer/actress, Vanessa Paradis has been announced as Chanel’s new face for their new line of Coco Cocoon handbags. If you wondering whether the name sounds familiar then you are on the right track. Ms Paradis happens to be the girlfriend of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp and the mother of his two children. If you think that’s not where/with whom you have seen her then it might be as she had modeled before for Chanel by being the spokesperson for their lipstick and perfume campaigns.

She first started out in 1991 with Chanel by being in an advertisement where she was placed in a birdcage covered in feathers and all that just to promote a new perfume. The French lady also happens to be close to Chanel’s chief designer and couturier, Karl Lagerfeld. Apparently, Chanel loves to have Paradis by stating she has a ‘modern elegance, boldness of character and power of emotion’.
