London Fashion Week wraps up

The London Fashion Week was a smooth ride even though some people were expecting something extraordinary to happen. The schedule was indeed tight but we did manage to sneak in to some shows including an improvised catwalk in a parking garage (show by Peter Pilotto); a Serpentine Gallery art and fashion mélange (show by Pringle). Then there was the show of Pam Hogg who managed to put Siouxsie Sioux in a lace bodysuit on her runway. Those attending the event included Nick Cave and artists Sue Webster and Tim Noble. The show itself reminded us of the 80s fashion with a mixture of the modern designers.
Burberry had a nice show of military coats and aviator jackets over high boots and short dresses and shirts. Front row guests include Kate Hudson, Mary-Kate Olsen and Twiggy.
Pringle showed off high-tech knitwear mixed with tweeds, leather and some fur. Celebrities spotted on the front row are Erdun, Christopher Kane, Jonathan Sanders, Peter Pilotto and Marios Schwab.
